Max shared his secrets to success in the Diploma Programme, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy work-rest balance. He also encouraged young wolves to embrace extracurricular activities as the skills they learn from these experiences will stay with them forever and can help them navigate life’s challenges.

Alumni Stories - Yinuo Zhang
Yinuo Zhang, class of 2023, cherishes all her BWYA memories, particularly the instances where she was able to unleash her creativity and experiment with entirely different concepts for the broadcasting club, Wolf Bites.
She has come to understand the significance of time management. She recognizes that with perseverance and resilience, she can accomplish her tasks efficiently. Despite the challenges, she remains determined and focused.
One might assume that upon gaining admission to the prestigious University of Oxford, one’s academic journey had reached its pinnacle. However, this is far from the truth. Besides academic expectations, there are numerous activities students can join in the university. Yinuo’s advice to Young Wolves is to identify your true passions and interests, make good use of your time, and fully enjoy and appreciate the myriad of opportunities presented to you.

Alumni Stories - Helen Luo
With a short stint in BWYA from?2011 to 2015, Helen Luo graduated with a?double major in Media & Communications and World History in University of Melbourne, Australia. She gives credit to the critical foundation skills she gained in the Diploma Programme at BWYA, that provided a seamless transition into her college education.?
Helen works as a creative producer of animations film and TV series now. She advocates teamwork, courage, and progressive thinking in her recent works. Helen’s advice is to stay true to oneself and persevere through challenges are key to achieving success.

Some of you may be worried about making new friends, whether that is when you go to university or go somewhere new. Sophie’s advice is all you have to do is approach the first person you see and ask questions. The chances are you will find a friend in no time.
Subsequently, it’s inspiring to hear how BWYA environment provided a conducive experience for Penny. BWYA will always be a home base for our alumni. She also mentioned about the value of participation in after-school activities and how it could help in the university.

Alumni Stories - Evelyn Jiang
It’s very interesting to hear how Evelyn Jiang 姜瀚提, class of 2021, experimented with different courses and subjects in her first year of university to make sure she is choosing something she truly is passionate about.
“I went into college deciding that I want to major in Biology and didn’t expect to double major in psychology. They know that you won’t really know what you want to do in the future when you are 18 or 19, so they allow you to have this chance to change.”

One of the most important messages that current students should take from this interview is the fact that passion is something we should all strive to find. Alan suggests that this passion doesn’t need to be something academic and could be as simple as a hobby.
