Middle School Drama 2025 - Showing Soon!
‘I Never Saw Another Butterfly’ is a historic story set in the Terezin concentration camp during World War 2. It follows the lives of some of the children who were incarcerated there for a number of years. Watch the video below to listen to some of the cast.
There will be two performances of ‘I Never Saw Another Butterfly’, one on Friday, 18th April for the middle school and one on Saturday, 19th April for everyone else. Keep these dates in the calendar, and tickets will be available soon!
1 Hour Challenge - Creating A Short Film
In this episode of the 1 Hour Challenge, we tasked some G10 film students with creating a short film in only 1 hour. Watch the video below to see how they got on with this daunting job.
The short film they created shows how easy it is to be fooled by scams and warns against trusting people who promise things too good to be true.?
This was the first time a significant time constraint was put on these students, and they did a fantastic job in adapting to this challenge. If any of you see them about in the community, remember to congratulate them on their effort!

Just before the Chinese New Year Holiday, the secondary school came together to see the incredible performances of this year’s Wolf Talent Show. Take a look at the highlights video below or see all of the individual performances further down!
You’d think we would be used to it by now but, every single year, we are still blown away by how talented our students are.?

The 2024 Winter Concert - Meet The Soloists

Darcy Zhang - Arranging A Cello Concerto
During the December 2024 Concert, Darcy Zhang (alongside the orchestra) performed Haydn’s 1st Cello Concerto. However, not only did he play the concerto, but he also arranged it over the months preceding the concert. Watch the video below to learn about this process and watch the final performance!
Congratulations to Darcy and everyone in the orchestra for a truly fantastic performance. We all look forward to what these talented individuals will entertain us with next!

1 Hour Challenge! - Visual Arts Edition
In the very first installment of the ‘1 Hour Challenge’,? three students (Leon Cui, Andrew Xu, and Daniel Yang) see what they can create in such a short period of time. Will being forced to work together be a hinderance or an unexpected benefit? Find out in the video below!
Over the course of the hour, both Leon and Andrew commented that the teamwork aspect of the task was very helpful, but Daniel began the project saying the opposite. By the end, Daniel was the leading voice in the importance of collaboration, which shows just how well the three students worked together throughout the process.
We want to congratulate all three of the students for a great effort in this challenge, especially considering they found out 10 minutes before filming that they were going to be involved. Stay tuned for more installments of the 1 Hour Challenge where we will explore subjects all over the school!
